You agree to use KrizNotes solely for personal, educational, or commercial note-taking in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not:

3. User Responsibility & Data Ownership

Because KrizNotes operates completely on-device without remote cloud backup:

• Sole Ownership: You retain complete ownership of all notes, markdown documents, attachments, and data created in the application.
• Backup Responsibility: You are solely responsible for creating regular backups of your notes (using the app's built-in Export Backup feature) and preserving any passwords set for your encrypted Note Vault.
• Password Recovery: Because we have no access to your device or encryption keys, forgotten vault passwords cannot be recovered by the developers.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

KrizNotes is provided "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

The developers do not guarantee that the software will be completely error-free, uninterrupted, or secure from data loss caused by hardware failure, operating system crashes, or user error.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the authors, contributors, or copyright holders of KrizNotes be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption) arising in any way out of the use of or inability to use this software, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
